This Privacy Policy explains what personal information AtexStudio collects, why, who we share it with and your rights. It covers Sellers who list and sell on the AtexStudio marketplace and Customers who buy from them. Each Seller is responsible for how they use their Customers' information in their own business, as set out in their store's privacy page.
1. Information we collect
From Sellers
- Account details: name, email, password (stored hashed), two-factor settings.
- Store details: store name and address, branding, support email, public business address if you add one, products and files.
- Verification details: legal name, country, phone and payout address. Identity documents are collected and checked by our payment partner, not stored by AtexStudio.
- Activity: sign-ins, settings changes and actions on orders.
From Customers
- Order details: name, email, phone, billing address, what you bought, answers and files you send with an order.
- Delivery records: when you download a file or open your order, we record the time, IP address, approximate country and browser. This proves delivery and helps prevent fraud.
- Messages and reviews you send through AtexStudio.
- Payment details: payments are made through a secure, PCI-compliant checkout and processed by our payment partner. We receive only limited information, such as the payment method type and, for cards, the brand and last four digits.
2. How we use it
- To run stores, process orders, deliver products and send receipts and notifications.
- To verify Sellers and meet the requirements of our payment partner and the law.
- To keep delivery records, handle refunds and disputes, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To support you and improve AtexStudio.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use Customer information for our own advertising.
3. Who we share it with
- The Seller you buy from receives your order details so they can deliver and support your order.
- Our payment partner, Whop or PingPongX depending on the Seller's region (see Payment partners), and its financial partners: the details needed to open and verify Sellers' connected accounts, process payments, send payouts and handle refunds and disputes, including delivery records where a dispute needs them.
- Service providers who host our systems and send email, under contracts that protect your data.
- Anyone a Seller shares a tracking link with. By default these links hide contact details; Sellers can choose to show them in full.
- Authorities where the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
We keep order and delivery records for as long as the law and dispute timelines require, usually up to seven years. Failed guest checkouts are deleted after a set period. Account data is kept while your account is open and for a limited time afterwards.
5. Security
Passwords are hashed, download links are signed and expire, sensitive settings are encrypted, and admin access requires two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you about breaches that affect you as the law requires.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or object to certain uses. Customers can also contact the Seller directly. Some information must be kept by law or to settle disputes. To make a request, write to [email protected].
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms and remember preferences. We don't use advertising cookies.
8. Changes and contact
We'll post updates here and email Sellers about significant changes. Questions: [email protected].
